Pat O'Brien and his longtime partner, Sue Bray, lost everything in the Eaton Fire that occurred
in Altadena on January 7th. Without a home and the most basic necessitites, the days ahead feel unimaginable.
Pat and Sue are life-long musicians who have spent many, many years making music in their home studio,
recording and entertaining so many in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond. They managed to save their three dogs, one cat and are grieving the loss of one additional cat and two turtles. They lost many wonderful instruments that were cherished.
Pat managed to save his gear that he's played at First Cabin for decades.

As they turn their energy into figuring out how to quickly rebuild their world, many have reached out and asked,
"How can we help Pat and Sue?". A GoFundMe was set up for the two of them by a longtime friend. It's a secure way for the community that they have contributed so much to, to help them get through one of the most hardest and vulnerable times of their lives. They know that they are not alone and that so many are hurting and in need now. They need us now more than ever! If you are able to donate to their GoFundMe page, please do so as any amount is appreciated.
We thank you so much for your support, generosity and kindness during this time.

There are a lot of scams occurring now, please know, this is a legitimate GoFundMe and all donations go directly to Pat and Sue.
This information was included on the website on behalf of Pat by a longtime friend who is also his website master.

April 2020 • Facebook Live Stream Jam!
A big thanks to all of you that helped put this together, those of you that donated, support live music and the work that musicians do!
The band reunited on Saturday, April 25th for their very first Facebook live stream jam at First Cabin! This was a one-time, socially distant performance since public events have been cancelled due to COVID 19. In this current climate it has become increasingly difficult for musicians to make a living. A GoFundMe page was set up to help support the band and all of the donations made went directly to the band which is helping them ride out this storm. There was no obligation to donate.

"I believe the three of us are agreed that we had an exceptionally good night last night. The audience was of the quality to make us play our very best. This is actually sorta rare, having the whole room on the same page. We always do our best under ANY circumstances, but last night's audience nudged us to reach a little deeper. From a performers POV, the ideal is to reach an energy level or quality where there's no separation at all between the band and audience and everybody is making it happen. The whole place. That's how it felt to me last night. Thanks to all who were there."
